As the Sales Director at Direct Handling AG, I work in direct contact with customers to conduct interesting tasks on a daily basis, and really appreciate the partnership-based relations when doing so. The company structures provide plenty of scope for flexibility and are very informal.

I find it brilliant that I cannot only make good use of what I have learned during my degree but also constantly gain useful experience for my degree while working. In addition, the team is always motivated and happy – and that makes work fun.

Held in Uster, the popular Zurich-Oberland Oktoberfest is right on our doorstep. What better reason to spend a Friday evening with a group of employees. With the working day over, lederhosen were donned, dirndls were slipped into and aprons were tied. With steins of beer and traditional roast chicken, it was time for some fun!

Mallorca weekend

Not your conventional employee event... To truly thank the team for its impressively hard work, we came up with something special in 2018: fun in the summer sunshine with a three-day trip to Mallorca where we could spend some time together away from work and let our hair down. As well as some great excursions, there was also plenty of time to party – and not everyone returned home quite as relaxed as initially planned.

Christmas do

The annual Christmas dinner in December is always a highlight of our calendar – and something we look forward to with great anticipation. Last year, we kicked off the event with an aperitif and a table football tournament. This revealed the true champion after the many games played at lunchtime. Following the trophy presentation, we enjoyed a fine Fondue Chinoise in our newly renovated canteen. To enable us to make an annual donation of CHF 100 per employee to a good cause, we always have the meal internally. After dessert, we headed into the city to continue our celebrations in a club.
